Carole J. HOLLAND Carole Holland, 72, of Kent WA died November 25, 2009, of compli cations from pancreatic cancer. Carole Myers was born in Ventura CA on August 5, 1937. Her early years were spent in Califor nia, then the family relocated to Iraq for her father's work. She graduated high school in Beirut, Lebanon. Carole traveled exten sively in Europe and the Middle East with her family and friends. She then attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA, where she received her BA in English Literature. Carole married Ken Holland in 1960, having two children, Mark and Anne. She was a stay-at-home mom and became a successful amateur golfer, winning many city,state and club champion ships. Carole was divorced in the late 70's and went back into the work force, reaching her greatest accomplishments as the director of the Circle Fine Art Gallery in downtown Seattle. Carole will be remembered for her love of life...good books, movies, music, art, laughter, the Mariners, family and friends and especially GOLF! Carole is survived by her son Mark Holland and his wife Jennie, of Edmonds WA. and her daughter Anne Gagliano and her husband Mike, and their sons Michael and Rick, of Stanwood, WA. Carole Holland's Celebration of Life service will be held at Rainier Golf and Country Club, 11133 Des Moines Memorial Drive South, Seattle WA 98168. Service held on Sunday, January 24th at 2:00 pm.
