GSWPGA Tournaments
Welcome to GSWPGA Tournaments!
If you’re here, you obviously already enjoy playing golf, so why not meet new people and possibly earn some change while doing it?
GSWPGA Tournaments (aka “City Tournaments”) are open to ALL golfers who belong to a member club and have a current USGA GHIN handicap index. Do you have a high handicap or have never played in a formal tournament? Well, you’re in luck! Our tournaments promote friendly competition and encourage knowledge of, and adherence to, the rules and etiquette of golf as promulgated by the United States Golf Association (USGA). There are a couple tournaments where you can choose your own team or partner (4 and 2-lady best ball tournaments), otherwise you will likely be paired with players of a similar handicap. It’s a fabulous way to meet players from around the greater Seattle area!
Here are some brief explanations of tournament scoring styles, but you really just need to keep track of your normal stroke scores and the Golf Genius software and tournament directors will do the rest!
Each tournament will have several flights, so your score will compete only with similar handicapped players.
